It is said that a good man leaves a legacy not just for his children but also for his grandchildren and that is precisely the story of Reddy’s Bakery. Mr R.Reddy founded Reddy’s Bakery, a specialist confectionery in custom wedding and birthday cakes in 1976.

Amazingly we are still situated in the same shop in 97 Yusuf Dadoo (Broad Street) for over 30 years! Reddy’s Bakery has since been run by Mr Reddy’s son son Jeeva together with his wife, Saras and their son Sigeshan in the hope that this sweet legacy lives.

Reddy’s Bakery is your local cake shop that boasts a variety of clientele and we are equally glad to create requests suited to your taste and budget. So we have baked cakes for our late President Nelson Mandela to Gospel singer Sfiso Ncwane and his beautiful wife Ayanda Ncwane, because we really pride ourselves as being the kind of bakery for ordinary people and if you happen to be the President or the local celebrity then that’s also cool!
